JIL BC 20th Anniversary and A Night with Bro. Eddie and Sis. Dory Banquet Diner

This might be the longest blog so far. Please bear with me as you read it...

Thank you very much and congratulations to all JIL BC congregations, Pastors and Coordinators, leaders and workers for being part of what God has done in the past 20 years. You are a precious partner in the ministry of the JIL Church Worldwide. Your presence and prayers have made the celebration victorious and glorious. Having been at the beginning seems just like yesterday and to see how God has blessed this ministry this past 20 years is truly His work and for His glory alone! There's more to come!

The Anniversary celebration held at the new Vancouver Convention Center was the place to honour God's faithfulness towards us. He deserved the best place in this city to shower His Majesty with the adoration and worship of His people. The whole atmosphere from beginning to start was amazing and all aspect of the service was indeed designed to please our only audience of One. I believe that the glory was given to Him alone. Congratulations to all who have assisted and given their time and effort to make this celebration a truly historic one. Celebrating 20 years only come this time and it was all worth it. Thank you very much. It is God that will bless you mightily for honoring Him.

What made this celebration even historic and memorable was the presence of Bro Eddie and Sis Dory Villanueva together with their family. The last time they were here was during the celebration of the 10th Anniversary at the Michael J. Fox Theater. Having them in this gathering and double decade celebration being the spiritual parents of the JIL family was indeed a glorious one.

Congratulations to the recipients to the Award of Appreciation for being part of the early years of JIL BC since 1991. How the years have passed and you are a testimony to us all of your faithfulness to a Faithful God! We have all grown old together with God's youthful favour and fervour for God's ministry. We have all shared a vision to see this celebration and we have made it this far and will complete it until Jesus comes!

The Banquet Dinner was equally worth the attendance seeing many aspect of honoring the Lord and honoring His people who deserved it occurred. One of the memorable aspect was how every table had their picture taken with Bro. Eddie and Sis. Dory Villanueva. I had fun doing it with them going in each table. Although it was not an easy thing to do yet as the people enjoyed it, Bro Eddie and Sis Dory, like a newly married couple joyously went in each table having their pictures taken with the people they cherished and loved. It was a great time for all. They rounded up around 70 tables and it was such a wonderful time....Wait for the official rendering of the table pictures. You will like it, I guarantee!

Yet the Lord has something great reserved not just for the JIL Family Worldwide but for the JIL First family as well on the appointment of the new Full-Time CYN Pastor in the person of the youngest daughter of Bro. Eddie and Sis. Dory Villanueva, Edelisha Jovi Villanueva- Binalla. Hallelujah! Truly this is a historic celebration. Congratulations to the CYN International for having a Pastor like David that will fulfill her purpose for God's glory alone!

Thank you for your commitment to this journey. Another level is yet to come. Let's all be ready for it!

JIL ONTARIO-QUEBEC 19th Anniversary Celebration

To our dearest ECR Pastors, Partners and Pray-ers,

Glory, glory, glory be to God in the Highest!

Our 19th Anniversary Provincial Celebration held at Metro Toronto Convention center today shown the unwavering faithfulness of God to all of His JIL people in this part of the world.
Who can imagine that God has already blessed us with so much favor. Let me share what's in my heart at this moment..

1. Amazed - for the wonderful presentation of all our Areas, both individual and group. Amazed on how God has satisfied us with His presence in anointing all of our brothers and sisters both in the platform and the out form.
2. Impressed - on the unity, harmony and charity of all our participants both those who performed and brought someone. Impressed of the excellent talents and passion of every one.
3. Humbled - for all the respect and support of all of you in delivering your best for the glory of God and pleasure of men. Humbled because I am always recipient of recognition for all your efforts and sacrifices. I and Rose prayed to God and presented to Him all the praise and honor, all due to His name.
4. Convinced - for what God had done in our midst, for the grace of bringing here our great leaders and for the crowd who filled up the place, inspiring the Holy Spirit to move. Convinced that if we can fill that place, we can fill up Air Canada Center by 2012. Let's pray where we can be this 2011 celebration.
5. Blessed - of the message of songs, kind acts of every JIL people and most especially with the preaching of God's word - full of passion and accuracy. Blessed because we had the opportunity to bless our Spiritual Director and the CEMT with our show of love and generous giving.
6. Inspired - to serve God more with you and wherever He will lead me. Inspired because of you.
7. In love - To God and His people. Serving God with people like you is our greatest favor, for you are all God's gift and deserving of the Agape love through Christ.

Well, thank you for being a blessing. You made a Significant Impact in the heart of God, our leaders and people!

So proud of you all, So proud of the Pastors, So proud of the leaders, so proud of the workers, so proud of the partners. So proud of you!

Banquet - JIL BC 20th Anniversary

Having reach this milestone of 20 years prove that God is able to sustain those that fully trusts and entrusts their life to Him in many ways. Celebrating His faithfulness is a must whenever we can to show our deep gratitude and appreciation for what He has done especially in the past 20 years. The JIL BC Churches will celebrate it with a desire to do just that, thus, our participation is solicited greatly. Though it may incur significant expense on our part, I believe that it will be all worth it for the One who really deserves it.

Thus, I would like to encourage all of you to join the banquet celebration of this anniversary and show our unity in coming together for this wonderful occasion. I appeal to all of you not to look at the registration as a stumbling block but an opportunity to enjoy what God has given us in the past 20 years. Consider it carefully and do not immediately decline to attend due to personal and financial reasons. If we allow these reasons to hinder us, we will surely miss many things. I believe that nothing is impossible to those who believe. As what a Filipino saying states: "If we desire it, we can make it happen, if we are not interested, we can give many excuses." Let nothing hinder us this time.

As part of the JIL Family, your presence is an important ingredient in making this celebration all the more worthwhile. We will only celebrate 20 years this year and let this be the primary reason why you will not miss both events. Your presence in these events will give God the due honor that He deserves from His people. The anniversary is a time to appreciate God and the banquet is a time to appreciate each other and the work we all have contributed towards fulfilling God's plan for our lives. Remember that it is not about how long you have been in this church or what ministry you are in, it is only this one thing: we are part of this family and your presence cannot be missed.

Think about it and make a decision to join both celebrations no matter what. Let's see each other there to declare God's faithfulness. God bless!
